I think for some reason I am more happy then him. Wich I think makes him A little anctious as to what I may be think. Ha Ha

My oldest son is staying of drugs. From what I can see. He is getting it under control. The day time drug tharapy has seemed to help. Along with the evening tharapy that I go to with him one a week. He has started to come back to normal. The Pot took a good month to get out of his system. It also took the month to just get his marbels back. I will always think of him as being kind of an ass to me. He is good to others and they comlpiment him to me. Wich is what a parent wants. He is at the point that I could ask him any thing ,since he knows every thing and I am just a dumb fool. He does have a temper that he will have to deal with on drugs are not. 4 more months and he will be 18 years old. I will say one thing. kids need to have some type of job when they are teens. That has helped him pull out of this. If he was sitting home bored all summer I believe he would smoke again. A change in friends has also helped. A person needs to get away from others that do drugs. My life seems to be in more control.

My oldest son who is 17 has been smoking pot for about a year. Some times alot more during that year than others. I know when he has been high. I know when he has stayed away from it. The other day he got very violent. I questioned him and told him a few points. Maybe about 40 words total. I told him he would have to leave if he is smoking again. He will have to go to drug treatment. I also said his girl friend will have to stay away form so he can get better (his girl friend gets high and her MoM gets high every day). He punched a hole in the wall. ran up the steps punched me in the back 5 time. I feel to the floor. He jumped on top of me and held me down .Punched me in the face 3 times. Then grabed my head and head butted me. I layed there for a few moments. Got up all dizzy and ran to my room locked the door. Got on my phone in my room and started to call 911. He kicked the door in and grabed the phone and smashed it. I then ran down stairs and quietly called 911 on my cell phone. He even figurd I called 911 on that phone so he started to run out The door. I ran after him and tackled him to the ground. Held him down and restled for 15 minutes for the police to come.

They took him to a guvinile detention center. I do know how it feels to be beaten or muged at this point. My jaw , back and head hurt. But I do believe this is the point we needed to get to. We will see what happens from here. Wish me luck.

I am headed to a Tea party at the capital today. One of the things that put me over the edge this year . Was going from 6.5% to 7% sales taxes. This is one tax that will never go down. Does any one remember when it was 5%. it was not long ago. I can not stand to see them spend young peoples money that they do not have. There should be more young people there than a person could amagine. Young people will pay for the deficite that they are building up.

I had to post about this to see what response I would get from people. It is almost like I am the ass hole for making rules and following them.

1. I told my 17 year old son. He would not drive his car to school if he skips class. He had detention seven times for skiping class.I took his keys away and only allow him to drive it to work only. I think this is comlpletly okay.

2. I told him if he has fails in any of his classes at the end of the quarter. I will take his phone away until he gets them up to at least pass grade. He failed two classes at the end of this last quarter. I now have his phone.

3.I told him no girls in his bed room with the door closed. The other night I got up at 11:30 at night and went down to his room and the door was shut with a girl in his room. I told her party is over time to go. I plan to sit down and talk to him and his girl friend tonight Tell her the rules of the house.

 

Well people am I an ass hole are is this the world you want to live in were there are a few simple rules.
